T.D. McKinnon - Seth Inspired Life & Literary Works

‘Revelation’ is the word used by so many people I have spoken to regarding their introduction to Seth. I have completed five books, dozens of short stories and many magazine articles to date, and I can’t think of a more apt word for my own introduction to the Seth material in 1980. My Seth and Jane Roberts’ books still occupy the top shelf of my book case; on average I re-visit one or two per year and, regardless, read ‘The Nature of Personal Reality’ every couple of years. I have just launched five eBooks and, although the books vary in genre, those who are familiar with the Seth material will recognise his influence throughout my work. ‘Surviving the Battleground of Childhood’ is the true story of the first fifteen years of a boy’s life: growing up in the coalmining communities, and how he survives the adversities of that battleground. This compulsive, easy to read, true story invites the reader to compare their own childhood adversities and, with simple Sethian philosophy, see past them. ‘I Was a Teenage Devil - But I’m Alright Now!’ is the continuing saga of Thomas, from 'Surviving’, following him into the British Parachute Regiment (the Red Devils) at just fifteen years of age. This is a sequel, but stands on its own, dealing with a different set of, no less significant, moral issues; viewed, retrospectively, through a framework of beliefs that are flexible enough to accommodate the true nature of reality. ‘John Farrell Is Utrinque Paratus’, an action/adventure thriller. My personal reading tastes are many and varied; this story represents a genre I enjoy escaping into. It is about hope, courage and human endurance in the face of adversity. If you enjoy a good thriller you’ll love this compelling, character driven, gritty tale and be able to relate to and empathise with its thoroughly believable hero. This fast paced story’s main theme is the power of self-belief. ‘Heather Skye Wilson Is the Psychic Warrior’, set in 2087, a speculative fiction incorporating recognisable Sethian theologies; even a name drop or two. Seen through the eyes of Heather Skye Wilson, our protagonist, daughter of two of the worlds leading diplomats for 'World Unity', it begins with her abduction by terrorists when she is twelve years old. The traumatic experience brings Heather into a phase of psychic development that helps to save her life. ‘Terra Nullius’, not for the faint hearted; dramatised historical fact, chronicling the 19th century through the eyes of the unfortunate race who occupied the best piece of real-estate in the southern hemisphere: Tasmania. I awoke in the middle of the night, with whole chapters wrapped around facts I’d painstakingly researched. Residue of the troubled souls of this land told me their story, wrapping muscle and sinew around history’s dry bones. A very humbling experience! http://www.tdmckinnon.com www.smashwords.com/profile/view/TDMcKinnon www.lulu.com/spotlight/TDMcKinnon www.goodreads.com/user/show/7
